The spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather the spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father” Romans 8:15 NIV.
Abba Father is a significant name for God that conveys a close relationship between a father and a Child
It is not precisely adapted for a Christian to fear. Any Christian who is fearful or afraid of something needs to ask themselves these three important questions:

1. Why am I being fearful?
2. What is the root cause of this fear? Sin? Disobedience or what exactly?
3. How can I activate my faith in God back?
Carefully reflecting on these questions will present a clearer picture of overcoming the fear.
To be fearful is not a natural habitat of a Christian, he cannot even cope living daily in fear. It’s not how his master has carefully designed his existence and entirety. In the owners manual for a Christian, the righteous (A child of God) are as bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1
You would really wonder why the comparison with a lion? A lion is not the most powerful, the fastest, or the smartest but he is the king of the jungle. First, he commands and everyone obeys. He acts confident at all times. He is fierce. He is bold. He doesn’t cower to any threats. He is meticulous. He studies its prey for long before launching the attack and that’s done to a remarkable level of precision. Just one bite is strong enough to kill a large prey.
It’s rather unfortunate and painful that so many Christians don’t know the power they possess and the rights already entrenched immediately they got that premium access to say these words “Abba Father”.
You cry “Abba Father” and you fear what demons, principalities, nightmares, death, unproven powers can do to you. What a shame! Catastrophic irony. Receive wisdom in Jesus name, today! (Amen)
David said “who’s this uncircumcised philistine?” Damn! I’d need to write on the whole synopsis of that battle another time. But common, what are the odds of defeating someone twice as tall as you are, who has over 20 years experience of regular warfare, leader of the host of one of the greatest world powers in the days? Someone whose roar shook the whole of Israel and made every single person tremble. Even his helmet, weaponry, and costumes of war are more than scary enough.
“I come to you in the name of the Lord of the host”.That was David’s response in 1 Samuel 17:45. You just must know the God whom you serve. That one who gladly welcomed you into His arms when you were lost, lonely, dejected and frustrated. When you were wallowing in the dungeon and distraught of sins.
Say it loud, today… this sickness, this precarious situation, this mountain, this battle, this problem, this erring child, this financial mess, this emotional turmoil, this barrenness, I come to you in the name of the Lord of Host, hear the word of God. Zechariah 4:7 KJV “Who are thou, O great mountain before Zerubbabel, thou shalt become a plain” You can substitute your name with Zerubbabel.
That’s why I’d forever love that song by Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, God bless his heart – Yahweh Sabaoth. The Lord of Hosts. The king of Glory is more than able to defeat every war , quench every fiery darts of the devil, subjugate every heartache, send perfect peace to every windy and stormy situation of your life. It really is not meet for Christians to fear! No, it’s not.
The second line of that wonderful hymn says, “nor for them to despair”. Merriam Webster Dictionary, defines despair as utter loss of hope or a cause of hopelessness. In other words, whether you’re the cause of the hopelessness you’re experiencing or someone, or some situation is the cause of the despair in your life. Hey, listen up! The Lord of Host has a mighty word for you today “I will fight your battle for you” “This Egyptian you have seen today, you’d see them no more” “There’s hope, trust in the one who has never lost a battle”
*The third and fourth line of the hymn, says, “when they least expect His help, the Saviour will appear”
Hey, even if you’re hanging on just a tiny thread of rope, even if your heart has bled out in anguish and sorrow, even if your body has experienced the most rupture in all your vital organs, even if your faith in God has evaporated and you’re sinking faster than you can imagine, even if your mind makes you believe that God cannot fix it or fix you, I’ve got just about the right instruction for you to do, tearfully call out “Abba Father”. He will definitely come through. Yahweh Sabaoth will show forth. He will make you experience Him in a new dimension. The God that comes through when no one else does. Call him “Yahweh ACT (Always Coming Through)“🤩
If you haven’t experienced the new birth, you can confess your sins and ask Christ into your heart today.
God bless you!

It is not meet for Saints to fear
Nor for them to despair,
For when they least expect His help;
The Saviour will appear.
