The Seven-Day Dream: A Blueprint for Soft Life

I can’t believe it was a dream!

What comes to your mind, when the question what are your dreams and aspirations is asked?

Did you say my dreams and aspirations? Hold my coke, let me take a quick nap. On the first day in the dreamland, I see myself in a beautiful garden, sipping wine and relaxing with the cool breeze blowing. My kids engaged in swimming, dancing, and board games. My loving wife in her most adorable apparel and costly cologne lying beside me.

Incredible classical music playing from stereos. My good friends enjoying some game of football. On the second day, I see myself on the Bahamas Island admiring the beautiful creatures of God – the beach, flowers, fish in the seas, the skies. The third day spent in the house of God worshipping with fellow believers of Christ.

On the fourth day, I realized I had not made the bank transfer to the orphanage and charity home, that I did immediately. I met an homeless folk on the fifth day and blessed him with money and resources to make a good life from. I was woken up by a phone call on day 6, “Hello Johnson, your book has just been recognized as an all time best selling”. Shared the good news with my family and friends, celebrated the feat in style. Further had a great time with my sweet angelic wife – read books, stayed up in a gratitude mode and with sweet relaxed mind.

On the Seventh day, I called my accountant to disburse more funds to make the life of my employees more comfortable. My travel agent reached out to me that I have been booked for a 4way tour/vacation at Venice, Machu Picchu, Pamukkalee and Pitons. I was eagerly waiting for the next day in my dream when I had a loud slap on my back. Phew! It seems I’m back to planet earth.

No ways, I want to return to that metaverse. Sorry dude, that kind of life is exclusively reserved for those who are ready to pay it forward. How do you mean? Now that you’re in your 20s. I totally understand that you want a soft life.

Even Urban dictionary describes soft life as a life of ease without requiring hard work, sacrifice, and unpleasantness. Living a soft life allows you to release toxicity, and receive positivity.
