I read a book over a decade ago titled “Motivation and Goal settings” by Jim Cairo.
I really can’t recall every detail of what I read but I know I learnt how to set goals – both on a long and short term basis.
One of the first goals I set then was to graduate with a first class degree. 5years after, I did. I graduated as the best in my department. The celebration was massive and it was worth all of the stress, hardwork and discipline.
Subsequently, I decided to keep setting goals, celebrate them no matter how small. I have learnt that goals give meaning to ones life. Goals clearer picture of the direction one’s headed and importantly help one become better version of oneself.
One of the goals I set for this year was to brush up my writing avalanche and be intentional about my growth in writing.
I’m happy to celebrate first, my newly designed blog at eminent-gold.com. My content writing internship at CharTechMark has been a great boost. I have written more articles this year than I did in relations to last 5years. I can only wish for more growth. Join me in celebrations🎉🥳🎉🥳
This means so much to me.
Have you ever tried to reach a goal only to eventually give up? Have you started working towards your goal but over time felt that it’s just too high a mountain to climb? Don’t give up hope. Try again. Celebrate the little wins.
