You have heard the word transformation many times, but have you truly considered the sheer, cataclysmic force of it? We are not talking about a subtle shift in perspective or a minor attitude adjustment. We are talking about an internal detonation.
The place where salvation takes root is not your mind first, it is your heart. It is here, in the innermost part of your being, that the definitive work of God begins.
The moment you believe, you are not simply polished; you are rewired. You receive a new heart, and the Scripture confirms the absolute finality of this moment: behold, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new in your spirit. I Cor 5:17
When does this change happen and How does it manifest?
This is the gospel of God demonstrating its staggering, life altering power in your life. It is the definitive move from spiritual death to eternal life. It is the reality of being completely made over.
Why do I call it explosive? Because the old structure of your life, the one anchored in sin, darkness, and self dependency, cannot coexist with the new Spirit given life. The moment you accept Christ, the truth acts like a shockwave, instantly bringing you out of the shadows of fear and bondage and into the glorious light and perfect liberty of a child of God. The power of the gospel shatters the chains of your past. Every sinful habits, evil ways are done with. It is a one time explosion that delivers you from darkness into the marvelous light.

When does this change happen and How does it manifest?
When does this transformation happen? The moment of your new birth is instant, but its manifestation is continuous. In that singular moment of genuine faith, your spirit receives a new heart.
This is not merely a metaphor for a better attitude; it is a spiritual transplant promised by God Himself.
When does this change happen and How does it manifest?
Receiving this transformation is simple and divine. You must acknowledge that you have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. Confess all those sins. Repent of them. And ask Jesus into your heart to become the Saviour, Lord and pilot of your life.
The evidence appears in the desires of your new heart. What you once loved you now reject, and what you once shunned you now pursue. Your heart will begin to beat with the rhythm of the Holy Spirit, making the impossible obedience possible. You wont be trying to be a new person; you become a new creation. It won’t be a performance, it will indeed be a divine transformation. Christians are not professional performers.
How do you sustain the testimony?
The initial explosion of salvation is magnificent. Your desire for God will be burning fervently and rightly so. You have just been delivered from the shackles of the enemy. The gates of hell losing a soul and this would ignite a sporadic fight to have you reclaimed. And this is why it’s absolutely essential that your subsequent fire for God that is, your testimony must be diligently sustained. The power is given at the start, but the practice is required for the journey.
1. Fuel Your Heart with the Word: Daily engagement with the Word of God is your spiritual sustenance. The Bible is the mirror that constantly adjusts your perspective to match your new reality in Christ. You are renewed in the mind as you internalize the truth of your new identity.
2. Cultivate Community: Your new life is not meant to be lived in isolation. Fellowship with other believers who share this transformation is vital for accountability, encouragement, and growth. Iron sharpens iron.
3. Actively Yield to the Spirit: Transformation is not a once only event but a continuous process. You must choose daily to allow the Holy Spirit to guide your steps, to renew your mind, and to empower you to live out the righteousness you have been given. Live life in step with the Spirit.
The explosive power of the gospel is not meant to fizzle out; it is designed to become a continuous burn, a light the world cannot ignore. You have to shine your light for others to come to the knowledge of the truth you have received too. Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven”.
You have been given the greatest gift: an explosive, total transformation powered by the gospel.
Embrace your new heart. Live in your new liberty. Sustain your testimony daily, and let your life be the proof of God’s unstoppable power. Remember also, that you have been saved to serve!
I congratulate you in advance as you step into the explosive transformation that comes through the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today, acknowledge, confess and forsake your sins.
